Idea IS the format

I love this.

It’s a great device to create a coincidence of character, in the context of a cyclical and potentially infinite pan.

As I watch it, I long to know more about the people in the restaurant, beyond what their reactions suggest.

In its own way, this is about as subtle as story-telling gets.
